Why are you participating in the Lit From The Black! 2024 fellowship
I am SO excited that this fellowship is back! It was an honor and pleasure to participate in 2020-21 with a group of phenomenal folks and I learned a lot and was truly inspired! During the pandemic it was beautiful and uplifting to have gotten to know Mama Stephanie and the rest of the fellows via a digital experience, and I am looking forward to being able to spend time in-person learning!
My goals are to further explore the fields of lighting and production and grow creatively within the industry. I aspire to discover the potential career opportunities offered by learning these skills.
“Woot woot!! I’m so glad that Afro Urban Society exists because you never fail to amaze and inspire!” - NiQueen Jones.
