Afro Culture Kids
Afro Culture Kids (ACK) is an immersive Pan-African arts & culture project to re-indigenize children and communities of African descent in their cultural practice, identity and communal connection. Through authentic and culturally-specific music, dance, language, social education, storytelling, cooking, arts & crafts, and other cultural activities, we celebrate our diverse African heritages, provide a place to connect, and do our part to keep our African cultures alive!

Want to work with one of our ACK Village Chiefs on a specific activity? You can book one/one 1-on-1/Small Group in-person and online lessons (language, cooking, crafts, etc), or check out our online learning community.
Guided by principles of self knowledge, care for the earth, consideration for one another, we believe that children should feel confident, affirmed and beautiful in their African identities and expressions.

Roots Run Deep
ACK engages a Pan-African village of artists, cultural workers, and volunteers representing and native to many diverse cultures including but not limited to Shona, Hausa, Zulu, Ayisen, Igbo, Afro-Peruvian, Afro-Carribean, Yoruba, and many more. Our family includes experts and enthusiasts in African-rooted artistic and cultural forms, with a range of experience working with youth and families from various communities.
