Mukanya is a Zimbabwean traditional cultural ambassador, instrumental maker, player, teacher and musician. He makes various types of MBIRA and MARIMBA, he also composes and records music. Mukanya is currently based in the Bay Area in Richmond, California. He works with Destiny Arts Center teaching Zimbabwean music and dance.
