Make it stand out

Nkei’s friend: Does Anyone listen to podcasts anymore?
Nkei: Kanukai DOES!, She stays sending me shit

Yup, that's ME y’all.
Road Trip? Podcast,
Shower? Podcast,
Catching Flights, Not Feelings (lies)? Podcasts,
Doing house chores, my friends think I never do domestic shit, other than “I am cleaning my room? Podcasts,
You get the picture…

You can never catch me being able to listen to an audiobook, but podcasts are where it’s at. I feel like my nosey ass be in the studio with the people. I am kiking, crying, standing on bidness, taking and receiving advice from Black people that look and sound like me. All the emotions, and the not-so-judgmental remarks because the cousins do not dare judge during Close Confessions with Candice Brathwaite and Coco Sarel. I try my best not to judge man, we are all not so perfect.

The bromance between Fuhad and James on ShxtsNGigs got me needing all the Black men in my life checking how they express and receive love from their friends and family. “Bruuuvaaaa,” Just make money while you are unapologetically being yourself.

Anyway, I know you didn't come here to read about my personal life and experiences with these amazing people. My AUS fam and I came up with a list of #PodcastsForTheCulture. There are so many podcasts out there, so please if you don't see you and your friends on the list, we don't hate you, just send us your pod information. I will start listening.

Also, Spotify & Apple podcasts, y’all chill on the commercials, man. I really can’t be out here having y'all interrupting my time like that! Change your ways.

Let me find out if you've been listening to dope podcasts without putting us on. Let us know what pods got you in a chokehold in the comments below.
