Why are you participating in the Lit From The Black! 2024 fellowship

I desire to participate in this fellowship because I want to expand my scope of technical and creative experience in the theatre medium. My passion is to write and direct for film, TV, and theatre with theatre being my least developed skillset. This program covers a wide array of topics which is appealing to someone like me who is an Actor/Director and has experience as a Stage Manager and Production Assistant.

This program will open selected participants to free professional training in addition to industry mentorship and career development. These are the highlights for the program for someone like me who has some experience but wants to elevate them more in order to be hire on professional productions as a Director.
